HISTORY
In pre-Columbian America ancient Aymaras lived throughout what is now Peru. Many lived near the Titica plateau which limited their growth of maize and they had to find alternatives to this crop. Ancient Aymaras solved this nutritional problem by developing the potato farm a wilder variety call the fox's potato or qamaqi ch'uqi, in Aymaras language.
The Potato Valley Cafe oven roasted potato is something altogether new and different. It is oven roasted on the outside and filled with wonderful toppings such as Cuban Chicken, Artichokes and Green Chiles, and Broccoli and Blue Cheese. Then we add a variety of toppings to each potato including vegetables, fruit, and our signature Danish Roasted Onions. It is a total meal, ready in seconds to be eaten in or carried out. |
